To celebrate 100 years of the formation of the Royal Australian Air Force, and to raise much needed funds, the Radschool Association has organised for a group of 40 adventurous men and women to ride 2,100 kilometres from Brisbane to Townsville on twenty 50cc scooters.

The Minister for Veterans Affairs Hon. Darren Chester will be seeing the contingent off at the Amberley Air Force base on the 12th September 2021. The group will travel through Kingaroy, Mundubbera, Biloela, Emerald, Barcaldine, Longreach, Winton, Hughenden, Charters Towers and finishing at the RAAF Base at Townsville on Friday 24th of September.

This Story has been invited to go along for the ride, documenting this unique journey through outback Queensland interviewing Veterans and locals and capturing some of the stunning scenery and landscapes along the way.

It is anticipated the completed documentary will be aired on Channel Nine in late 2021.
